Hi guys!

So, today I'm here to review some great products that I've gotten for free for testing purposes. The products that I'm talking about are from the new line from L'Oréal called Hydra-Total 5. The line consists of a moisturizer, a toner, a lotion & a scrub. These products are great to maintain healthy looking skin! I am currently still testing out the products so this post may be edited but for now here are my thoughts on each one of them :)

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even moisturizer:
The moisturizer has a whipped consistency, making it thick, which is great for dry skin like mine. It definitely makes me more hydrated which can be difficult during the cold season. Also, its glass container makes it look very luxurious but I'm glad that it can be easily found in drugstores.

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even toner:
I can't believe that I've never used a toner before, because this product is fantastic to remove any traces of makeup that you might have missed. On top of that, it has a really nice citrus scent! I would simply suggest to moisturize the face right after using it or else the skin could dry out (most toners tend to have that effect). Otherwise, I'm really happy about this product.

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even scrub:
This is a great product to cleanse the face. It is very gentle on the skin as it contains tiny microbeads, that exfoliate to ensure that there is no residue left. The scrub has a really nice citrus scent as well!

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even lotion spf 20:
This is a very good hydrating and smoothing lotion. It contains SPF 20 which is great for summertime since it protects the skin from the sun and probably also the reason why it gives a slight glow to the face. However, I don't think it made any difference in terms of making the skin tone even. Still, I do use it because of its convenient size which is perfect when you have a busy lifestyle or you simply travel a lot.

Have any of you tried these products? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

Rockstar Pink nail polish from Sally Hansen

As the year 2015 begins, I thought I might share a festive yet easy nail design incorporating lots of glitter which I absolutely love. It’s incredibly easy to create this nail look and it works with various glittery nail polishes. For this design, I started off by applying a nail hardener that I like to use as a base coat and then I put 2 coats of the Sally Hansen nail polish in Pink Rockstar and finally topped it all off with a top coat.

Here's everything I used on my nails:

  • Viva Cosmetic nail hardener (purchased at ~ 1$ in a liquidation store)
  • Sally Hansen nail polish in Rockstar Pink (around 2-3$ in most drugstores)
  • Nicole by OPI Top Coat Plus (around 8-9$ in most drugstores)

I hope all of you have a great prosperous year ahead that is filled with love and joy!
